I blog about life as I remember it, while living in the reality of my own messiness and chaos. I find peace in the beauty of everyday wanderings and details and have come to realize that it sometimes means I am sexy in flip flops, a pony tail, blue jeans and a spit-up stained t-shirt.
My passion in life is helping women to realize they are beautiful and wonderful just the way they are, that they are sexy and amazing – whether a size 2 or a size 22, whether the smooth skin of youth or the wrinkles of experience and wisdom. I coach women in the ways of acceptance and self-esteem because I believe that if you believe in yourself and are confident in who you are, that the rest of life is cake. And yes, you can have your cake and eat it too. And guess what, you deserve absolutely no less!
Several things I adore include Josh Groban, Rob Thomas, anything vintage and retro, aprons, baking, blogging, sushi, the Amish, books, and ballroom dancing.
My accomplishments include a much better second marriage than my first, truly accepting my husband for who he is, giving birth to 4 wonderful children and understanding the need to raise them as individuals, breastfeeding, cooking dinner and managing to keep my little ones from escaping – all at the same time.
